Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 2026-06-20
What this is
When you connect certain integrations from inside Castforge, we may earn credits or revenue if you sign up for that partner's paid service. This page lists which partners and how the attribution works.
We tell you up front, on the integration card itself, with a “$ credits” badge. The disclosure is also linked from every signup flow that uses these partners. This disclosure is provided per the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
Which partners
Castforge currently has, or is enrolling in, affiliate programs with:
- Vercel (live)
- Supabase (live)
- Cloudflare (coming soon)
- Railway (coming soon)
GitHub does NOT have an affiliate relationship with Castforge.
We do NOT have affiliate relationships with any AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), they don't run public affiliate programs.
How attribution works
When you click “Connect” or any “Sign up with {partner}” link inside Castforge, we:
- Add
utm_source=castforge&utm_medium=integration&utm_campaign=<source>to the redirect URL so the partner can identify Castforge as the referrer. - Record the click in our database (timestamp, hashed IP, optional user ID if you're signed in to Castforge).
- Wait for the partner to send us a webhook if you complete a paid action.
We never charge you more than you'd pay going to the partner directly. Affiliate programs reward the referrer, not the customer.
Your data
The hashed IP is one-way (SHA-256 with a daily salt) and cannot be reversed back to your IP. Your Castforge user ID is recorded only if you're signed in.
See the Castforge privacy policy for how we handle your data.
