Built by a developer who needed it.

Castforge is a Windows desktop workspace that runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and GitHub Copilot as one team: a Lead who plans, Coders who build, a Tester and a Reviewer who keep it honest, and a Designer who guards the look. You watch and steer from a live board, on the AI accounts you already pay for, with your code staying on your machine.

Who we are

Castforge is made by Julien Abenhaim, a developer in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, and operated by 9569-2893 Québec inc. It started as a personal tool in the spring of 2026 and opened as a public beta in September 2026. Today it is a very small team with a very direct line to the people using it: most changes in the changelog trace back to a report someone sent from inside the app or posted in the Discord.

Our story

The first version existed because running three coding agents side by side meant three terminals, three sets of notes, and no way to know which one had actually finished. The idea that stuck was not more agents. It was a team: real roles, a reviewer on every card, a board that says what it can and cannot verify, and memory that survives a restart. Everything since has been about making that team trustworthy enough to leave alone for an hour.

What we do

How we work

We publish every user-facing change in the changelog, keep a public roadmap, and say plainly when a step was skipped or a check could not run. How the docs and the changelog are written is described in the editorial guidelines.

People using it

Castforge is in open beta with a community on Discord where testers report what breaks and what they want next. Join us there, or read what shipped in the changelog.
